BILINGUAL AGNUS DEI

Latin is just some of what English, Spanish and Gospel have in common. Enjoy and praise the Lord.

Aleluya, Aleluya Alleluia, Alleluia
Nuestro Dios poderoso es rey For the Lord God Almighty reigns
Aleluya, Aleluya Alleluia, Alleluia
Santo, Santo Holy, Holy
El Señor Dios poderoso Holy are You Lord God Almighty
Digno eres Tú, Digno eres Tú, Worthy is the Lamb, Worthy is the Lamb
Tu Eres Santo, Santo You are holy
El Señor Dios poderoso Holy are You Lord God Almighty
Digno eres Tú, Digno eres Tú, Worthy is the Lamb, Worthy is the Lamb
Amén. Amen

DRAWING MICHAEL BUBLE'S FEELING GOOD

Some years ago I decided to use Michael Buble's FEELING GOOD in some of my classes and help them understand the lyrics by making some of these drawings that replace the missing parts of the text. At that time, I used to write for bloggyglota. Today I write here, but I'm still feeling good.

high, you know how I feel

in the sky,
you know how I feel
Breeze drifting on by
you know how I feel

It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life
for me, and I'm feeling good

in the sea, you know how I feel

running free, you know how I feel

You know how I feel
It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life
for me, and I'm feeling good

You Know what I mean, don't you know

you know what I mean

That's what I mean

and this old
is a new world, and a bold world for me

when you shine, you know what I mean

scent of the ...
you know how I feel

is all mine and you know how I feel
It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life
for me, and I'm feeling good

USED TO WAIT in THE WILDERNESS DOWNTOWN

We aren't able to fully appreciate this interactive film with pictures of our city, São José do Rio Preto - not yet. But if you bear good memories of a well-known place completely photographed by google maps you might enjoy your town featured on this fantastic THE WILDERNESS DOWNTOWN. Here, we recommend that you study the usage of USED TO to refer to things that we no longer do, as in the lyrics of this song, by Arcade Fire:

I used to write,I used to write letters

I used to sign my name

I used to sleep at night

Before the flashing lights

Settled deep in my brain

But by the time we met

By the time we met

The times had already changed

So I never wrote a letter

I never took my true heart

I never wrote it down

So when the lights cut out

I was left standing in the

Wilderness downtown

Now our lives are changing fast

Now our lives are changing fast

Hope that something pure can last

Hope that something pure can last

It seems strange

How we used to wait

For letters to arrive

But what's stranger still

Is how something so small

Can keep you alive

We used to wait

We used to waste

Hours just walking around

We used to wait

All those wasted lives in

The wilderness downtown

Ooooh we used to wait

Ooooh we used to wait

Ooooh we used to wait

Sometimes it never came

(ooooh we used to wait)

Sometimes it never came

(ooooh we used to wait)

Still moving through the pain

(oooooooooooh)

I'm gonna write a letter

To my true love

I'm gonna sign my name

Like a patient on a table

I wanna walk again

Gonna move through the pain

Now our lives are changing fast

Now our lives are changing fast

Hope that something pure can last

Hope that something pure can last

Ooooh we used to wait

Ooooh we used to wait

Ooooh we used to wait

Sometimes it never came

(ooooh we used to wait)

Sometimes it never came

(ooooh we used to wait)

Still moving through the pain(oooooooooooh)

We used to wait (x3)

We used to wait for it

We used to wait for it

Now we're screaming

Sing the chorus again

We used to wait for it

We used to wait for it

Now we're screaming

Sing the chorus again

I used to wait for it

I used to wait for it

Hear my voice screaming

Sing the chorus again

Wait for it! (x3)
